Today, I made a birthday card for one of my penpals – I am over a month late with it so hopefully she will like it and forgive me my totally rubbish time-keeping.
The card was inspired by December Words&Paintery colour challenge – blue, sparkly and frosty colours; perfect for a late November birthday, I thought.
The colours from Charmed Scrap – Colour of the Year mood board
and Studio75 December mood board also played their part at the designing stage.
As always, I mainly used products from 13arts and focused my design around white, blue and silver colours. I built up the layers and textures starting with a doily stencil and ink splatters and finishing with paper flowers from Scrapberry’s and silver mica flakes and glitter from 13Arts.
Here is what the card looks like
And here are some close-ups.
What do you think?
Thank you for visiting me again.
