Mid March brings new challenge at Words&Paintery – shades of pastel blues and teals…

Staying true to my New Year crafty resolution, I made an off-the-page project. I found an old wooden jewellery box lid and decided to alter it. Covered in layers of gesso, white crackle paint and texture paste I managed to cover the red and orange stains and create uneven distressed base for my composition. I used old Prima stamps, filled the small bottle with Mini Art Stones and coloured chipboards from Blue Fern Studios. All that decorated with some flowers and a flair button. As always, all the paints are Tattered Angels.
