So, I finally managed to get my paint covered fingers on some Stencil Girl stencils thanks to the Colourcraft and Stencil Girl blog hop! Yay for me!!!

Without waiting I started to play and made a couple of projects using products from both companies but for the blog hop, I wanted to share this stencilled apron which I use while crafting (modelled by my little helper for the purpose of this post).

I have used Stencil girl Trio Of Thorns stencil and Colourcraft Aztec Eco Metallic paints. The apron is from Canvas Corp.

IMG_2979Please bare in mind that the paint won’t be permanent on the apron unless it is mixed with fabric medium and heat set with an iron.

You can watch the video to see the process – it’s a quick and easy tutorial so you can even try getting your little ones involved (if you’re ok to tidy up the mess after!)

Make sure you leave them some love!!!

  1. I love to give hostess gifts! What a great idea to give your own stencil designed apron or even a creatively designed dish towel. I have lots of friends who collect both and would love this! Thanks for the inspiration!
