AND a £25 Gift Certificate to Colourcraft!
(One comment per blog please.)
I'm not a big card maker but there are times when I'd much rather make one than buy one. End of the school year is one of those occasions. Being a teacher myself, I find it much more heart-warming to receive a handmade gift than a bunch of flowers. Following that idea, I made a quick card.
I have used papers, stencil and a stamp from Scrapbooking.gr – an online scrap supplies shop that I work with. Paints and always are from Tattered Angels.
I hope you enjoy watching the creative process
Here’s my second project for Wild Whisper Designs – a set of sunny orange and green cards.
The idea was to reflect the hexagonal design on the background paper in the punched designs used as embellishments.

First day of January brings new challenges…
Here is this month’s sketch challenge from ScrapAfrica.
I decided to make a card rather than my usual 12×12 scrap layout. As base I used watercolour card and stencilled ‘rays’ design using 7Dots Studio stencil, to build up the layers, I used 7Dots ‘Writer’s Block’ collection – it’s gorgeous! I brightened it up by sprinkling some amber colour paint all over. Mounted on a black card base…I think it looks pretty smart.
